Lake Keowee
Lake Keowee is a man-made reservoir in the United States in the state of South Carolina. It was developed to serve the needs of power utility Duke Energy and public recreational purposes. With 18,500 acres of water and a 300 mile shoreline, the Lake Keowee area is popular for fishing, waterskiing, swimming, camping and picnicking.

Lake Jocassee
Beautiful Reservoir Located In South Carolina
Lake Jocassee is a 7,500-acre, 300-foot deep reservoir in northwest South Carolina. It was created in 1973 by the state in partnership with Duke Power. The lake is best known for the clean and cold waters that flow from the 4 Appalachian mountain streams and multiple waterfalls which serve to keep its waters cool and clear year-round. The clear waters make for a perfect day of scubba diving where you are bound to see a variety of fish. The land around Lake Jocassee remains mostly undeveloped and perfect for hikes that are sure to land you in some of the best trout fishing locations around.
